Our Mission

The goal of NIH Leads is to provide easier access to scientific lead contact information from public resources available online. Information here is gathered from NIH databases and mined to provide the most up-to-date information on scientific leads. Through this mission, NIH Leads provides several tools for individuals in the life science industry:

  • A searchable API which connects to the US National Library of Medicine - National Institutes of Health (NIH) PubMed database and quickly returns citations containing scientific lead information.
  • Export capabilities (.csv) to quickly gather results for down-stream marketing purposes.
  • On-going efforts to improve search capabilities and to bring more NIH databases online.
